Old, Battered Puppet

She was called the Terror of the Skies to the Alvalar armies that went against her. The guardians fell to her power, cities broke under her claws.
But to the forces of the Dark Master, she was nothing more than the Pitiful Hag.

Yes, Cynder is giving off her threatening appearance here, her nostrils venting out the smoke left behind my her mastery of a powerful, dark fire. 

But this time, I didn't want to make her the terror. I wanted to show how controlled she was. She is a child forced to live in the body of a very, very old dragoness whose hide sulks like rags and her once young scales are now forcefully dulled to an ancient shade. Her wings are torn, her bones show through her skin, and her posture brings her menacing head down to a weakened drag. Her eyes glow a soft, young color, but her shackles grow brighter with intense magic, keeping her in this state. 

But she ignores her malnourishment. She is a child; she doesn't understand why her body feels weak, and why should she worry? Her power is strong and backed by greater magic. She is a slave that follows her puppet masters religiously, not knowing any other life apart from this.

I wanted to draw corrupted Cynder for a while, but I wanted to shake things up and draw her in my headcanon in which her body was accelerated to not an adult form, but the form of a hag.
